Coaching In-Person
"In-person coaching creates a more personal connection, allowing for better non-verbal communication and deeper rapport."
Working With A Surrey-Based Coach
I offer in-person coaching sessions from my comfortable and private premises in Staines and Addlestone, Surrey. These spaces provide a calm and welcoming environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and challenges openly. In-person coaching allows for deeper connection and real-time interaction, helping you feel supported and understood.
In-Person vs Online Coaching
In-person coaching creates a more personal connection, allowing for better non-verbal communication and deeper rapport. However, online coaching offers flexibility and convenience, particularly for those with busy schedules or long commutes. Both options provide the same tailored, results-focused approach to help you reach your goals.

"The most important factor in a coaching relationship is coach-client connection"
Hybrid Option
For those who want the best of both worlds, I offer a hybrid coaching option. You can alternate between in-person sessions at my Surrey premises and online sessions based on your schedule and needs. This flexible approach ensures you stay on track with your goals while accommodating life’s demands.

Virtual Feelings-Based Coaching
Feelings-based coaching focuses on understanding and processing your emotions to create deeper self-awareness and clarity. While being in-person fosters a sense of physical presence and a safe, brave space, virtual coaching can be equally powerful. The comfort of your own environment often allows for more vulnerability and honesty, leading to meaningful breakthroughs and emotional growth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where and when do in-person sessions take place?
Sessions are held at my private, welcoming coaching space located in either Staines or Addlestone, Surrey. We’ll arrange a schedule that fits your availability. Each session lasts 60 minutes, giving us space for real connection and reflection.
How is in-person different from virtual coaching?
In-person sessions offer a richer, more embodied experience. You benefit from:
- A safe, dedicated environment for deep focus
- Stronger connection through non-verbal cues (tone, gestures, energy)
- Space to engage in tactile exercises (journaling, worksheets)
- A meaningful pause from daily routines
Many clients find the physical setting enhances clarity and presence.
What if I live further away or have limited availability?
No problem! Much of my coaching takes place online and I work with clients based all over the UK – and some internationally. I’m happy to work with you purely over Zoom calls, or if you’re within a commutable radius, we can discuss hybrid options – combining face-to-face with virtual sessions to fit your life. We’ll work together to create a structure that honours your needs.
Is coaching a type of therapy?
Coaching and therapy serve two distinct purposes, but there is overlap. Coaching is about change and action and focuses on setting and achieving goals. Therapy is a licensed profession with a focus on mental health and emotional healing. Therapists are usually trained to be trauma responsive. Both coaching and therapy however, create a positive and healing environment which is a catalyst for change.
What’s the investment and scheduling process?
Coaching packages typically include:
- 12 or 24 weeks of in-person coaching, with fortnightly 60-minute sessions
- Deep-dive first session + wrap-up meeting
- Personalised tools and reflection exercises
- Email support between sessions
To start, book a free Discovery Call. If we both feel it’s a good match, we’ll choose your schedule and confirm your session dates.
Do I need to commit to all sessions up front?
You’ll book your full 12 or 24-week package to reserve your time slots. Payments are usually made in instalments (e.g. three to six monthly payments), making it easy to budget. If unexpected events arise, we can explore rescheduling options or a short pause – flexibility is built into the package.
Where exactly is the coaching space, and how do I get there?
The coaching space is walking distance from Staines high street, Staines train station and easily accessible by bus or car. There’s on-street parking outside. The Addlestone space is in Rowtown and easier to travel to by car. Full address and access guidance will be shared once we confirm your booking.
Is it safe and COVID-aware?
Yes. My coaching space is cleaned between sessions, with seating arranged for comfort and care. I follow current health guidelines and stay flexible if your comfort level changes.
What can I expect when I arrive?
I’ll welcome you into a calm, confidential space – no distractions, just a comfortable chair and supportive atmosphere. Each session begins with a gentle check-in, then moves into purposeful reflection and action planning.
How do I get started with in-person coaching?
- Book a free 30-minute Discovery Call via the connect page on my website.
- Complete a Discovery Questionnaire before the Zoom call
- We’ll discuss your answers, what you’d like to explore and how in-person coaching could support you.
- If it feels like a great fit, I’ll confirm your session times and send a welcome email with all the details.
How many sessions should I have?
It really depends on what you want to achieve through coaching. A one-hour session will help to explore a block or sticking point and will help explore what positive action is needed to move forward. A series of 6 sessions will help guide and support you towards 2 to 3 firm goals that you feel are achievable over the course of 3 months. A series of 12 sessions will help guide and support you with 3 goals that you are likely to achieve within 6 months. A discovery call will help to determine the best coaching timeframe for what you want to achieve.
Can I bring materials or prompts to a session?
Absolutely. Feel free to bring a journal, notebook, or anything that grounds you. I also provide worksheets and tools during sessions for writing, drawing, reflecting.
How did you become a life coach?
I trained for 6 months over 14 modules with The Beautiful You Coaching Academy, which included sitting an exam and working with pro bono clients to achieve my Life Coach certification. I also trained in Rational, Emotional Behavioural Therapy (REBT) with Transformation Academy. This is a form of therapy which guides people to take back their power by learning how to direct their own thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
