Frequently Asked Questions

Life coaching is a collaborative process where a coach supports and guides individuals to achieve their personal and professional goalsIt involves helping clients identify their strengths, clarify their vision, overcome obstacles, and develop action plans to reach their desired outcomes. Life coaches act as motivators and accountability partners, helping clients stay focused and committed to their goals. Life coaching specifically focuses on the area/s of life that a client feels needs most attention – maybe health and fitness, career, parenting, finance, social life, creativity – to name a few.

Confidence coaching is a supportive, empowering space where you get to work on what’s holding you back – whether it’s self-doubt, overthinking, imposter syndrome, people-pleasing, or feeling stuck. We explore where your confidence is being challenged, what you really want, and how to start moving forward with more clarity, ease and belief in yourself.

You don’t need to have it all figured out to get started. Coaching might be a great fit if you:

  • Feel like you’ve lost your spark or direction
  • Keep second-guessing yourself (at work, at home, in relationships)
  • Want to make a change but don’t know where to start
  • Long to feel more grounded, brave, and “like yourself” again

Whether you’re at a crossroads, in a wobble, or simply curious – coaching offers space to unpack all of it, without judgement.

Coaching is forward-focused: centred on where you want to go and how to get there. While therapy often explores past experiences and healing, coaching is about goals, values, mindset, and actionable steps. That said, both coaching and therapy can complement each other beautifully.

Unlike mentoring (which often involves advice-giving), coaching is led by you. It’s a confidential space to explore what you really need – outside of company goals, office politics, or other people’s expectations. We focus on your values, mindset, and vision so you can move forward in both your personal and professional life with clarity and confidence.

You’ll receive:

  • A deep-dive session to clarify your goals and needs
  • Fortnightly 60-minute one-to-one coaching sessions (typically over 12 or 24 weeks)
  • Email support between sessions
  • Tools and resources tailored to your situation
  • A warm, judgement-free space to explore what matters to you

It’s personal, supportive, and built to move at a pace that works for your life.

You can choose what feels best for you. I offer both in-person coaching in Staines or Addlestone, Surrey and online sessions via Zoom. In-person sessions are held in a quiet, welcoming space designed for deep thinking, comfort, and connection. Some women also opt for a blend of both.

It starts with a free questionnaire and no-pressure Discovery Call. You can share where you’re at, ask questions, and see if coaching feels like the right next step for you. You don’t need to commit to anything unless, or until it feels right.

It really depends on what you want to achieve through coaching. A one-hour session will help to explore a block or sticking point and will help explore what positive action is needed to move forward. A series of 6 sessions will help guide and support you towards 2 to 3 firm goals that you feel are achievable over the course of 3 months. A series of 12 sessions will help guide and support you with 3 goals that you are likely to achieve within 6 months. A Discovery Call will help to determine the best coaching timeframe for what you want to achieve.

I trained for 6 months over 14 modules with The Beautiful You Coaching Academy, which included sitting an exam and working with pro bono clients to achieve my Life Coach certification. I also trained in Rational, Emotional Behavioural Therapy (REBT) with Transformation Academy. This is a form of therapy which guides people to take back their power by learning how to direct their own thoughts, emotions and behaviours.

As a Coach who values and actively encompasses diversity, equity and inclusion, I embrace the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds and value the personal learning that comes from that. I work with any person who is keen to set some transformational goals for their self-development – as long as there is a strong connection and we feel we are a good coach-client match!
